Classical Inspiration for New Collectors

The artwork is an original oil painting by the well-known German landscape painter Günter Seekatz (born 1928 in Langenberg). His works stylistically align closely with the atmospheric, detailed models of 19th-century Dutch winter painting.

The piece is housed in a classical, heavy wooden display frame in antique-gold style. The frame underscores the traditional, historicizing character of the subject and makes the image appear especially deep.
