The sun seems to inhabit the land in this landscape of yellows and ochers, where a blue watercourse carves its way toward the mountains. The stretches of green and the violet tones of the distance evoke a fertile territory, marked by the passage of the seasons. Antonycs resides in Madrid. Trained in visual arts and art history, he has focused his career on photography and painting. His work is deeply inspired by Californian and Western American landscape painting, as well as European painting from the early twentieth century. These references are reflected in his attentive gaze to light and atmosphere, elements that shape his work.
At the same time, he has developed an intense body of work in the logistics and organization of exhibitions in galleries and museums in Spain, Brazil and Italy. His work has been part of numerous group and solo shows, consolidating an artistic practice that blends personal creation and curatorial experience.
