Brass table bell on a pedestal in Art Nouveau style, model Son cristallin, dating to 1910–1920, originating from France, 13 cm high by 9 cm wide, excellent used condition with minimal wear, featuring a tripod base with stylised foliage, a central lyre-shaped support, and a domed bell with a phoenix figure and a crystal-like, long-lasting tone.
Description from the seller
Simply splendid table bell on a pedestal (late 19th, early 20th century)
With great artistic finesse, an organic pedestal.
The brass tripod base is carved with stylized foliage motifs.
The central stem splits into an elegant lyre-shaped fork to support the dome, remaining in an absolutely immaculate original mechanical condition.
It features birds sculpted in relief.
A phoenix with wings spread, whose body follows the curve of one of the three feet of the rocaille base.
The thickness of the dome ensures that the vibration lasts several seconds after the strike—the famous crystal-clear sound typical of Napoleonic III era salons.
For decorative collection or use.
Fast, careful shipping with tracking and insurance.
