Small ear-handled ceramic bowl from Vallauris by Robert Picault - 1950s
A very beautiful individual ear-handled bowl (ravioli / dip bowl) in glazed ceramic, entirely handmade and hand-painted in the studios of the famous French ceramist Robert Picault in Vallauris, dating from the 1950s.
The piece features a superb interior geometric and stylized floral decor (rosette or sunflower motif), complemented by a two-tone graphic frieze on the exterior wall. The color harmony is emblematic of the artist's work, elegantly pairing turquoise green, manganese brown, and cream white.
Under the red terracotta base, the handwritten signature “RP” is perfectly clear and legible, guaranteeing total authenticity of the piece.
