Description from the seller

This is an original UCI World Champion race suit (skinsuit) worn by Marianne Vos from the 2012/2013 cycling season. She donned this iconic rainbow jersey in the colors of the Rabobank cycling team after she won the road world title in spectacular fashion in September 2012 in Valkenburg, Limburg.

Features of this particular suit:
• The Rainbow Jersey: The jersey features the characteristic white base with the five colored UCI bands (blue, red, black, yellow and green) around the chest, sleeves, and shorts, reserved for the reigning world champion.
• Sponsors and bike partner: Prominently on the chest are the logos of main sponsor Rabobank and bicycle manufacturer Giant. In the center of the rainbow chest sits the round Rabobank cycling teams logo (the banker on horseback).
• Clothing brand: The suit is produced by the Swedish sports brand Craft, which at the time was the team’s official kit supplier.
• Signature: On the abdomen side (just below the rainbow band) the suit bears an original autograph of Marianne Vos, including her written name "Marianne Vos".

The 2012 season was the absolute golden dream year for Marianne Vos. In the span of just a few weeks she first won Olympic gold in London in the summer and then, in September, the Road World Championship in Valkenburg (her second elite world title). Because the Rabobank team ended sponsorship of the men’s team at the end of 2012, the bank continued to support the women’s team in 2013 under the name Rabobank-Liv/Giant. Vos wore this specific Craft design during the 2013 road season as the queen of the peloton.
