Mara. J XL - Sapphire Nightfall

A lavender blue opens the upper part of the canvas and gradually descends toward a deep indigo, almost nocturnal. Mid-height, a band of yellow and golden leaves lights up, like the last glimmer of light that crosses the foliage. Against this glow, silhouettes of dark blue leaves rise, crisp and delicate. Lower down, among the overlapping shapes, small fragments of ochre emerge, echoing the warmth of the light. The surface is tactile, built up in successive layers of vegetal imprints and glazes. A serene and luminous image is born from it, suspended in the moment when day yields to evening.
