AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Essential Figure
Artist: original work by artist E. Pérez Lezcano
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Dimensions: 70x100 cm
Presentation: The work is sent without a frame, carefully packed in a rigid cardboard tube for maximum protection.
COA: Includes a certificate of authenticity hand-signed by the artist.
Essential Figure proposes a reflection on human identity through the simplification of its forms. The figure emerges from an almost architectural structure, where the face and body are reduced to their fundamental elements, preserving a firm and enigmatic presence. This visual synthesis suggests that the essence of the individual does not necessarily reside in recognizable features, but in what remains when the superfluous disappears.
From a contemporary Cubist perspective, the work explores the boundaries between representation and abstraction, transforming the human figure into a construction of planes, lines, and volumes. The contrasts between deep blues, intense reds, and luminous surfaces reinforce its monumental and sculptural character. Essential Figure invites contemplation of the beauty of simplicity and to discover how a presence can express its identity through a visual language reduced to the indispensable.

Seller's Story
I am a contemporary artist based in Madrid, Spain. My work explores the relevance of Cubism from a contemporary perspective, building a visual language of its own where form, color, and composition dialogue to create scenes filled with balance, symbolism, and emotion.
Each work is an original and exclusive creation, conceived as a unique piece that reflects ongoing research into the figure, space, and expression. My aim is to create paintings that not only capture the eye but also establish a lasting connection with those who view them.
All works are signed and come with their corresponding Certificate of Authenticity, guaranteeing their originality and provenance.
My paintings are part of private collections in different countries and are intended for collectors who value authenticity, quality, and the singular character of a contemporary artwork.
