This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravited Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air force us to rethink the concept of what is organic and what is stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight out of nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravited Forest” is as much a metaphor as a provocation, a visual liberation act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
