Work linked to the tradition of European landscape painting in the 20th century, with influences from late Impressionism and post-Impressionist currents devoted to the direct representation of nature. The loose brushwork, simplification of forms, and prominence of light effects recall the evolution of European landscape painting toward a more spontaneous and chromatic form, where the perception of light and atmosphere prevails over meticulous description.

A serene landscape featuring a watercourse that runs vertically through the composition and directs the gaze toward a clearing in the background. On both sides develops abundant vegetation, notably the tall trees on the right side, whose canopies visually dominate the scene.

The artist works with free, visible brushstrokes, building the vegetation through greens, yellows, ochres, and bluish tones. The sky, a bright blue dotted with small white clouds, adds depth and contrasts with the masses of vegetation. The treatment of reflections on the water is especially attractive, where the greens and yellows of the surroundings blend through horizontal and spontaneous brushstrokes.

The composition conveys the feeling of a bright day in the heart of nature, with particular interest in changes of light, reflections, and the chromatic vibration characteristic of the Impressionist tradition.

It is presented with a dark walnut-toned wooden frame, wide and molded, accompanied by a fine inner gold trim that delineates the painting and adds a classic and elegant finish to the set.
