Magnificent oil on CANVAS measuring 27 x 35 cm, signed bottom left B Retaux. Orientalist painter known as a friend of André Hambourg and Maurice Boitel (two laureates of the Ab El Tif prize in Algiers for Orientalist painting), among others! It depicts, as is often the case with the painter, a lively view of Morocco. Sold in a frame from the 1980s, given and left with the artwork by the painter's daughter, thus authenticity guaranteed!
