Description from the seller

Vintage Mido Multifort Powerwind Automatic watch dating roughly to the 1950s, characterized by a light dial, Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 alternating with pointed indices, dauphine hands and the "powerwind" inscription at 6 o'clock.
Main features:
Model: Mido Multifort Powerwind (Automatic)
Period: 1950s (often equipped with in-house automatic movements such as caliber 0917P)
Case: Stainless steel, often associated with classic designs or waterproof/dustproof cases of the era (such as the historic Borgel cases).
Dial: Clearly branded "Mido MULTIFORT" at the top and "powerwind" at the bottom, with luminescent markers.
Main features:
• Model: Mido Multifort Powerwind (Automatic)
• Period: 1950s (often equipped with in-house automatic movements such as caliber 0917P)
• Case: Stainless steel, often associated with classic designs or waterproof/dustproof cases of the era (like the historic Borgel cases).
• Dial: Clearly branded "Mido MULTIFORT" at the top and "powerwind" at the bottom, with luminescent indices.

• Movement frequency and jewels: This is typically a mechanical 17‑jewel movement operating at a classic era frequency.
Case construction and water resistance:
• Borgel/ Taubert case: Many of these models were housed in the renowned cases made by Borgel (Taubert & Fils), famous for their exceptional robustness, screw-down case backs and dust- and moisture-resistance.
• Vintage dimensions: The case diameter (crown excluded) usually measures around 34.5 mm – 35 mm, representing the classic and formal standard for men’s watches of the period.

• Automatic winding (on the wrist): Once wound, simply wear it regularly. Normal daily activities will keep the mainspring taut and the watch running. If worn all day, it will continue to run through the night even after being removed from the wrist, thanks to its power reserve.

Free shipping with Registered Mail or Insured, and the contents protected with cardboard to guarantee protection and privacy. I do not ship to the United Kingdom or the United States of America.
