And if Goldorak had finally earned the blockbuster treatment that an entire generation was waiting for? There are heroes time does not erase. Goldorak is one of them.
For everyone who grew up watching Actarus and his legendary robot, imagining Goldorak on the big screen is something fascinating. And what if this film actually existed?
With Goldorak - Paris Première, SKE starts a new artistic series dedicated to films that never came to be. Fake movie posters, imagined as the blockbuster productions that pop culture enthusiasts would have dreamed of discovering.
For this first episode, head to Paris. In a spectacular atmosphere, Goldorak dominates the capital, clinging to the Eiffel Tower.
Choppers, apocalyptic sky, incandescent lights, and a vertiginous perspective compose a scene worthy of Hollywood’s grand productions.
The artist here reinterprets the codes of the cinematic poster to offer a new dimension to this icon of Japanese animation. The result plays on the boundary between nostalgia, fiction and reality.
Intended for Goldorak lovers and pop culture collectors, this creation is offered in A2 format, on Hahnemühle art paper, in a limited edition of only 10 copies, signed and numbered by SKE, accompanied by their certificate of authenticity.
A film that never existed. A poster that, on the other hand, can join your collection
- FRAMING TIPS
Your work is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.
Upon receipt, remove it gently and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before framing.
ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in hardware or home decor stores.
Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and affordable, they perfectly showcase the artworks.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a versatile approach who grew up immersed in 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.
He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at Urban Master (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as “Artist of the Month” by Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place in the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE has also made his mark in the digital artwork market, a major trend of the past two years, increasing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of pop culture, bold graphics and texture play characterize a style now indispensable.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Acclaimed & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line work carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to rework the Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to place them in a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or KAWS.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics and comics is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the legendary Game Boy universe, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured surfaces evoking the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal to enrich a collection or bring a dynamic touch to your space.
