Icons that do not simply traverse generations: they embed themselves in memory. With Double Impact, SKE brings together in a single diptych two instantly recognizable presences for anyone who grew up with the universe of Goldorak: the monumental power of the legendary robot and the more intimate, almost embodied dimension of its alter ego Actarus. This face-off works as an obvious pairing. On one side, Goldorak imposes its mythical silhouette, its strength, its aura of absolute protector. On the other, Actarus brings the gaze, the soul, the human tension behind the myth. Together, the two works dialogue and form a single piece: a visual homage to an entire popular culture that marked childhoods, fed the imagination, and left a lasting imprint on collectors.
In this diptych, SKE does not deliver a mere nostalgic wink. He reinterprets these cult references in a contemporary, nerve-filled, inhabited writing, where the contrast of the black background, the flashes of white, the red touches and the painterly gestures give the whole a nearly raw tension. Memory becomes an image of character. Reference becomes artwork. Designed as an inseparable whole, Double Impact speaks to those who are not just looking to display a passion, but to bring into their collection a piece that calls memory, pop culture, and a strong visual presence. A diptych for those who know exactly what Goldorak represents.
- FRAMING TIPS
Your work is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.
Upon receipt, remove it carefully then lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before mounting.
ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in hardware or decoration stores.
Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant, and affordable; they showcase the works perfectly.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught, versatile French artist who grew up immersed in 80s/90s culture, inspiring the majority of his works.
He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meaning, blend street art’s raw energy with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at Urban Master (2023), then named Discovery of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place in the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE has also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend in the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and textured play characterize a style that is now essential.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Awarded & Recognized Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line combines the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret the Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to bring them into a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo’s universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with symbols of success and materialism. The Dollar sign sits alongside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to forget mass consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art with textured finishes, sometimes evoking the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
