Description from the seller
Paride Catti 1982 Naples
Contemporary painter known for his classical and macchiaiola painting (the Italian 19th-century movement), an eclectic artist who creates works with painting techniques on different supports. A young artist who studied at the Naples Academy of Art, where he had teachers of considerable prestige, from whom he absorbed diverse techniques of contemporary art; enamored with 19th-century painting, he produced works using techniques of that era, working and experimenting in the studios of notable contemporary painters. He has participated in exhibitions in Italy, marking his painterly style. Paride Catti has realized this splendid painting by referring to the nineteenth-century technique, like the great masters of the era (Domenico Morelli, Antonio Mancini, Michetti, etc.). This work, titled "Turkish Warrior," oil on canvas with mixed media, measures 70 x 90 cm, splendidly realized; one notes from the color tones that give strength and light to this painting. This artist, being young, already has artistic maturity and will go far, because he has great artistic talent. The work will be carefully packed with an accompanying certificate of authenticity.
