Tolomelli Cesare, TRA LUCE E OMBRA, an original oil painting in a Cubist figurative style from 2026, 70 x 60 cm, hand-signed, original edition, in excellent condition, created in Italy and sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
Figurative opera inspired by Cubist. Between light and shadow it represents two united but different women: one luminous and sunny, the other quieter and melancholic. The warm and cool colors tell opposite emotions that coexist within us.
Painting by Cesare Tolomelli, an Italian painter born in Bologna, a city where he trained artistically by attending the School of Art, starting from a young age a path of pictorial research oriented toward experimenting with color and form.
He currently lives and works in Rimini, a setting that has profoundly influenced his stylistic evolution and his visual language.
Over the years he has participated in numerous painting competitions and artistic exhibitions in Italy, receiving recognitions and positive feedback from the public and critics, thanks to a personal and immediately recognizable style.
His research focuses on chromatic and geometric decomposition of reality, with particular attention to the expressive force of color as an emotional vehicle. The figures, often feminine, are reinterpreted through chromatic planes, tonal contrasts and soft forms, giving life to images suspended between figuration and abstraction.
Tolomelli adheres to the Rimini chromaticist movement, within which he develops an intense and vibrant painting, in which color is never descriptive, but structural and emotional. The painting surface thus becomes a space of balance between intuition and control, between instinctive energy and constructive composition.
His works are present in private collections in Italy and abroad, confirming international interest in a production capable of dialoguing with the language of modern and contemporary art, in particular with the experiences of Cubism and expressionist painting revisited in a personal key. Careful packaging and tracked shipment with a professional courier.
