From the prestigious Pomerol appellation, Château Lafleur du Roy is an exceptional red wine that blends elegance, aromatic richness, and great finesse. Born of a unique terroir composed of sandy-gravel soils and “crasse de fer,” it expresses the nobility of the right bank of Bordeaux.

Made predominantly from Merlot (85%), complemented by Cabernet Franc (10%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%), it offers a remarkable balance between roundness, structure, and complexity.

The Merlot provides a velvety, indulgent texture, while the Cabernets reinforce the aromatic finesse, the structure, and the wine’s aging potential.

Aged in oak barrels for 18 months

The wine shows a deep robe with garnet highlights. On the nose, there are intense aromas of ripe black fruits, notably cassis, blackberry, and black cherry, enriched with spicy, woody, and slightly floral notes.

In the mouth, the attack is silky and ample, supported by melted tannins and a fine overall harmony. The finish is long and elegant, marked by a subtle mineral and woody touch.

This wine captivates with its balance of restrained power and elegance. Its aging potential of 15 to 20 years allows it to gradually develop more complexity and depth over time.
