Description from the seller

Pair of prints by Lorenzo Pastrovicchio

Both prints are A4 size (29.7 x 21 cm) and are made on cardstock.

The main subject is PK, and these are two famous covers created by the author in past years.

Both prints are signed in original.

Lorenzo Pastrovicchio, born in 1971, joined the Disney world in 1993 by attending the Disney Academy, run by Roberto Santillo and conceived and supervised by Giovan Battista Carpi.

An iconic illustrator, highly inclined toward science fiction and adventure, he does not renounce his love for classic Disney. In fact, besides having worked from the beginning on the PKNA project ('Trauma') and contributing to its relaunch in 2014 ('Potere e potenza'), he collaborates constantly on the weekly Topolino and, in collaboration with Francesco Artibani, he created a cycle of stories for Mickey Mouse's 90th anniversary, where the Young Mouse’s adventures are revived together with his companions Donald Duck and Goofy.

With Casty, he creates Darkenblot, a futurist version of MacchiaNera, the darkest Disney villain of all time. Together they will sign almost 500 panels for three seasons. In the 1990s and 2000s he produced covers for several Disney titles ('Giovani Marmotte', 'Grandi Classici', 'Grandi Parodie', 'Paperinik', 'PKNA' and many others). He collaborates with various Disney departments in advertising and merchandising.

Together with the editorial division he works as a cover artist on the series 'Disney Mistery', for which in 2003 he won the prestigious 'Topolino d’oro' award.

In 2020 he received the 'Giacomo Pueroni' award as best science fiction artist. Pastrovicchio also takes the helm of the famous fantasy series 'Wizards of Mickey', created by Stefano Ambrosio, and he will draw the first and many other stories, until becoming its most-present artist.

For Disney Global he is the graphic creator and illustrator of another fantasy/medieval genre saga, 'Diary of a Wacky Knight', a Paperinik in a knightly version with numerous international translations.

Recently, to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary, he worked with Marvel on event covers that reimagined Disney characters as the famous superheroes from the House of Ideas. With Marvel he also produced the Donald Duck/Thor version and, upcoming, the Fantastic Four (also with the Disney team).

His works are constantly reprinted in prestigious editions.
