I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today my works are almost exclusively on paper. This more compact and calmer way of working reflects not only my creative process but is also a response to health challenges. It fits well with my daily life and gives me the space to fully focus on the motif.

My works often come in small series and in changing styles – because, for me, art lives on curiosity, not repetition.

I studied art and illustration in Riga; since the 1990s I have worked professionally – with exhibitions at home and abroad.

I love creating figures with character – beings that carry a small story within them. Sometimes quirky, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handmade original – painted with care, humor, and heart. Maybe one of them will speak to you.
