Otto Pippel (1878-1960), after - Landschaft im Abendlicht

For sale is a beautiful oil painting from private collection.
The subject depicts an idyllic rural scene with a farm by a stream at dusk.
The work is distinguished by its extremely tactile and thick brushwork typical of the impressionist style, which, as noted in art books about light, gives the painting a fascinating depth.
