French crystal ensemble featuring three antique Baccarat decanter stands and a cut crystal ice bucket signed Valéry Klein at Baccarat.

The three decanter stands are authentic Baccarat pieces, made of transparent molded crystal. Their decoration is distinguished by an elegant radiant starry ground and a festooned border composed of wide rounded facets, which catch the light particularly well.

Each bears the molded BACCARAT mark in relief in the crystal. This type of decanter stand is documented in the factory’s old productions and can be dated to the early 20th century, approximately between 1910 and 1930.

The fourth item is a Valéry Klein cut crystal ice bucket, made in the Baccarat region in the 1980s. It bears under its base the marking KLEIN – BERTRICHAMPS – 54120 BACCARAT – FRANCE.

Its crystal features rich geometric and vegetal cutting work, complemented by a metal frame and handle. When paired with the three older Baccarat decanter stands, it forms a harmonious ensemble that evokes the art of entertaining in the French manner and the fine tables of the 20th century.

Approximate dimensions: the decanter stands measure about 13.2 to 13.3 cm in diameter and about 2 cm in height. The ice bucket stands about 15 cm tall, with an opening about 14 to 15.5 cm. Exact dimensions may vary slightly.

Condition: good overall considering the pieces’ age. The crystal retains a fine brilliance and may show light traces or micro-scratches from use. The metal frame of the bucket shows patina, some signs of use, and oxidation spots visible in the photographs. No defect is intentionally concealed; the photographs are an integral part of the description.

This ensemble thus brings together two expressions of French glassmaking savoir-faire: ancient Baccarat crystal and the artisanal work of Valéry Klein at Baccarat.
