Italian Murano opalescent blown glass vase with cobalt blue hot-applied mascaroni, 16.5 cm high by 13 cm in diameter, dating from the 1970s, in good condition with two minor defects (small edge chip and a missing segment of the lower glass filigree).
Description from the seller
Elegant Vase in Murano Opalescent Blown Glass with Cobalt Blue Mascheroni
Refined vase in ultra-light Murano blown glass, characterized by a delicate opalescent finish that gives precious iridescent nuances to the surface. The vase, in the classic amphora or crater shape, rests on an elegant circular foot. The purity of the opalescent glass is enhanced by two hot-applied motifs in the shape of mascheroni (or ancient coins) in vivid glossy cobalt blue glass. To complete the decoration, two slender lines of glass (filigree) are applied "on a rail", running horizontally along the circumference of the vase, respectively above and below the mascheroni.
Technical Details and Dimensions:
Height: 16.5 cm
Maximum diameter: 13 cm
Dimensions of the motifs (mascheroni): approximately 2 x 2 cm
Conditions:
The item presents in good overall condition, retaining its original charm. However, for complete transparency, two small defects are noted in the last two photographs: a slight chip on the upper edge of the vase and the absence of a small segment of the rail-applied glass (in the lower line) located on the back of the vase.
Packing and Shipping:
We guarantee highly professional and meticulous packaging, specifically designed to preserve the integrity of the lightweight glass during transport. Shipping will be prompt and traceable via express courier.
