Giorgio Toccaceli born in Castelfidardo-Italy 1954 has a past as a caricaturist for newspapers, at the International Museum of Caricature in Tolentino, at the Biennale of Humor; his art has spread through exhibitions dedicated to him such as "dive into color" or "hidden in the canvas"—the latter takes its name from his well-known signature, the one drawing himself inside his paintings. His playful inspiration, which draws smiles, exudes sweetness and makes one think. His caricatures and his paintings are indeed capable of “immortalizing” in the same action the feelings, virtues and vices of an entire community, contextualizing them and proposing a sarcastic, yet always delicate, snapshot of society itself. Giorgio Toccaceli's art is in constant change and moves with ingenuity among varied graphic lines, adapting to the times without chasing them.
