Description from the seller

We are putting up for auction a piece of jewelry art of rare mastery and strong visual impact: a majestic and imposing large brooch, crafted in 18 kt yellow gold (750/1000), enhanced by exceptional carving work on rock quartz and adorned with natural blue topazes.

The true protagonist of the creation is the grand flower, entirely sculpted and hand-engraved by Italian master goldsmiths from a single block of transparent rock quartz. The surface of the mineral has been finely satin-finished with a matte “ice” effect, a technique that lends softness and visual depth to the petals, creating an extraordinary contrast with the light. An engraving work executed with excellent skill and of absolute artistic value.

In the center of the corolla blossoms a refined bouquet of 4 blue topazes faceted with crystalline brilliance.

The jewel is in excellent condition.

Dimensions: 93 mm length x 50 mm width
Weight: 33.16 grams
Gold title: 18 Kt regularly hallmarked 750
Oval topaz: 2.19 ct approx
Drop topaz: 0.70 ct approx x 3
