Description from the seller

Splendid and evocative large oil painting on canvas (50x70 cm), signed at the bottom by master Guido Morelli and dated on the back of the painting.
Figuration evocative / poetic minimalism.
An artwork that fits perfectly within Morelli's research into atmospheric rarefaction and visual silence.
Balanced composition with an autumnal tree line on the right contrasting with the vertical silhouette of a cypress on the left and a small farmhouse in the mist, united by an opalescent light on the horizon.
Morelli's painting combines evocative figuration and poetic minimalism, aiming at the sublimation of truth rather than photographic copying; the oil technique uses layers and textures to create an evocative "visual silence".
Born in La Spezia in 1967 and trained at the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara under the guidance of Umberto Buscioni, Morelli has lived and worked in Piacenza since 1997.
His figurative and evocative painting is part of collections in Italy and abroad, and the artist collaborates with galleries such as Mercurio Arte Contemporanea and Von Buren Contemporary.
Condition: excellent, the painting has always been carefully preserved
The painting will be shipped without frame and passepartout.
Rigid, well-cared-for, and traceable packaging

In case of non-EU shipment the lot will be sent only after the issuance of the nulla osta. The above timeframes do not depend on the lot proposer. Once the authority's nulla osta is received, the lot will be shipped. Handling costs borne by the lot owner. Customs duties and other charges borne by the buyer.
