Mario Galanti (XX) - Tramonto sul Golfo di Napoli con barche di pescatori

Oil on canvas, 40x30 cm, signed M. Galanti in the bottom left. A suggestive view of the Gulf of Naples at sunset, in the tradition of Neapolitan painting: fishermen’s boats with sails set approach the shore, while in the background one can make out Vesuvius, the city and Castel dell’Ovo.

A sky ablaze with orange and purple, waves crashing on the beach and meticulous details in the figures and the boats. Hand-painted, ready to hang.
