AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Title: The Two Street Performers
ㅤ
School: European School (20th century) follower of Picasso
ㅤ
Style: Figurative Cubism with Picassoan influence
ㅤ
Technique: Oil on paper
ㅤ
Condition: Good overall conservation state.
ㅤ
Circle and artistic influence:
Work carried out under an evident influence of Pablo Picasso's figurative language, especially his café characters and certain periods in which he combined geometric simplification, expressive deformation, and bold outlines. It is framed within the broad influence exerted by Cubism and Picasso's expressionism in 20th-century European painting.
ㅤ
Two figures appear seated at a table with several glasses. The figures are constructed with dark outlines, simplified faces, and large color fields of red, blue, cream, and black. The attitude of the protagonists and the economy of elements concentrate attention on the psychology and the bond between the two characters.
ㅤ
Wooden frame painted in dark blue, accompanied by a wide cream-toned inner mat that isolates and enhances the composition.
ㅤ
Observations:
ㅤ
The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packaging. In such case, we will require photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority.
ㅤ
Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge due to causes such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions or weight of the item. PremiArt will not be responsible for this surcharge in any case.
ㅤ
The courier that must pass through the Swiss border may experience much longer delays than normal, so, if possible, to speed up the process, we will provide the customs number that is withholding the shipment so the customer can release it and thus have it reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties
ㅤ
Due to the high volume of shipments it is possible that the order is delayed more than three days, so we apologize and thank you for your patience. Any questions about your order please contact us via internal messaging
