LORIN - Between states - Phase 3

Original painting by LORIN, part of ongoing research on the human figure emerging from textured surfaces and color. Lorin's research focuses on the female figure as an emotional and symbolic space, where presence, identity, and perception meet.

"Between States" is a series dedicated to those moments in life when we find ourselves between two states: we no longer fully belong to who we were, but we have not yet become who we will be. The series is born from the idea of exploring this intermediary territory, made of transformations, changes, and identities that slowly take on a new form.
In "Between States" the figure seems to emerge from the material and at the same time blend with it. It is the moment of a journey, the point at which something is changing but it is not yet possible to understand its direction.
