Description from the seller
"An Echo of Kyoto" XL is a visual artwork by Nik Haku that explores the quiet poetry of beauty, ritual, and identity. Framed by vivid blossoms against a deep blue sky, a mysterious figure emerges from a world suspended between tradition and imagination. Her porcelain-like features, sculptural black hair, and delicate green garment create a striking contrast between softness and intensity. Every flower becomes a silent witness to a moment that feels timeless, as if drawn from a forgotten dream.
Artist’s statement:
I wanted to capture the beauty of a presence that reveals very little yet evokes so much. Inspired by the elegance of Japanese aesthetics, this work explores the tension between concealment and expression, fragility and strength. The flowers become symbols of fleeting beauty, while the figure remains suspended in a quiet, almost sacred moment. It is an image about the mystery of what we see, and the emotions that remain beyond it.
Artwork details:

About the artist:
I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques —primarily fine art photography, complemented by painting— to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
