On the old Chesterfield sofa, a young woman in white lingerie and silk stockings has fallen back, head hanging, legs up against the window. With her eyes closed, she holds a red tie. The record spins on the turntable, coffee cools on the coffee table.

Side B is the other side of the record, the one you listen to when the evening is over and you stay alone with your thoughts. The forgotten tie tells who was there a moment ago. We think of Dorothy Parker's New York nights and Fitzgerald's heroines, free and a little drunk on their city. Amber light from the lamp, deep blue of the night, the red gleam of the tie: an intimate, joyful and sensual scene.
