art decò - Candleholder - Gilt brass

Pair of solid-brass desk candelabras with a patina in Art Deco style (evoking Georgian style in a “modern” key); both candle holders rest on a solid heavy base, of a faceted octagonal shape, with a stepped profile that provides stability and a robust look. The corners of the base are beveled.

The stem is the most characteristic element. It is not cylindrical, but presents a complex angular geometry: the central part shows pronounced facets and inclined planes; in this section there is a green-blue patina (verdigris).

At the top there is the candle cup holder:
The condition is characterized by a natural, untreated patina. Signs of time and the original patina are visible, but there are no structural damages: well-preserved objects and ideal as vintage furnishing complements for classic, retro, or modern interiors with decorative touches.
