Description from the seller
Splendid and imposing solid silver ice bucket in 925 sterling, entirely handmade and hand-hammered, as certified by the official hallmark engraved on the bottom.
This exceptional piece of tableware was crafted by the historic and renowned Milanese manufacturer "Argenteria Dalla Costa S.r.l.", active in Milan in the second half of the 20th century. On the base all post-1968 Italian legal hallmarks are perfectly visible and crisp: the state star, the maker's identification code, and the province abbreviation "MI" (Milan), alongside the prestigious commercial trademark of the workshop (shield with a stylized horn/swæn).
The item stands out for its significant specific weight and for the extraordinary quality of the artisanal craftsmanship with embossed floral decoration, which enhances its brilliance and elegant curved forms. A top-tier piece, ideal for collectors of Italian art silverware and for embellishing luxury tables.
