GENERAL DESCRIPTION
In the auction is a spectacular and unique vintage racing bicycle signed Pavarin Varese, a charming expression of Italian era textile craftsmanship. The steel frame stands out for a lively and iconic chromed/multicolor gradient paint job with tones of purple, red, yellow and metallized silver, enriched by the chromed front fork and the original Pavarin decals with rainbow crest applied to the head tube, down tube, and seat tube.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND VISIBLE COMPONENTS
The bicycle features a rich and interesting combination of Italian vintage components. The drivetrain boasts a Campagnolo Nuovo Gran Sport rear derailleur, Campagnolo front derailleur, down tube shift levers marked Patent Campagnolo, and an era aluminum Rino Aerodinamica crankset with double chainrings. The braking system uses classic Universal Model 125 brake blocks operated by black-housed brake levers. The cockpit consists of a classic black handlebar stem with a racing bend wrapped in white tape. The saddle is a black, sport-oriented anatomically designed model. Completing the setup are a metal bottle cage and wheels with vintage aluminum rims.
