H. bequet - Lidded vase - Belgian faience fireplace garniture by H. Bequet, 1950–1960 - Ceramic

3-piece set of Belgian faience consisting of a baluster-shaped lidded vase with a figurine on the lid and two lightly domed vases. All richly hand-painted with colorful flowers and foliage, framed by gold accents, typical style of H. Bequet from Quaregnon, as also noted on the underside (“H. Bequet – Fait main – Hand made – Handwerk – Made in Belgium”). Beautiful as a mantelpiece arrangement or as a focal piece on a sideboard/windowsill.

Condition: neat vintage state with light signs of use appropriate to age; possibly small glaze crazing, tiny edge wear spots or production flaws, but no visible cracks.
