An apologetic account of the apparitions and prophecies attributed to the seer Théophile Restaux at Gouy-l’Hôpital, in the Somme. The work describes the locations, the initial manifestations, the novena, and the subsequent apparitions.
An interesting document for the history of Catholic prophecy and Marian devotion at the end of the 19th century. Hermier’s brochure and the seer are still mentioned in L’Écho du merveilleux in 1907.
