Description from the seller
Hiding Face III | Hidden Faces
Description of the work
Hiding Face III belongs to the series Hidden Faces, a pictorial exploration of identity and of what remains invisible beneath our appearance.
The work combines figuration and abstraction through expressive brushstrokes, intense colors, and a pronounced texture of oil. The face emerges among splashes of color, creating a tension between what we show and what we conceal.
An original small-format piece, with a strong visual presence, reflecting Carlos Milanés's contemporary painterly language.
Unique piece, ideal for collectors of contemporary art seeking original and expressive works in compact formats.
