Ronak Moshiri's original 2016 acrylic painting with mixed media on canvas, titled The eternal presence- Where stone becomes spirit -, 100 x 100 cm, signed, excellent condition, ready to hang, 3 kg, produced in Italy and sold direct from the artist.
Description from the seller
This ready to hang painting stretched on 4cm wooden frame , accompanied by certification of authenticity is an abstract homage to the sacred Shiv Lingam of Elephanta Island, expressing the timeless spiritual essence of India. Rather than depicting the monument literally, it evokes its enduring energy through layered textures, dramatic contrasts, and expressive brushwork.
The dominant black form symbolizes the Shiv Lingam—an eternal axis of creation, transformation, and inner consciousness. The surrounding interplay of white and charcoal tones suggests the ancient basalt caves, where light and shadow have danced across stone for centuries, inviting contemplation and silence.
Small bursts of vibrant color emerge like offerings of flowers and devotion, representing the living traditions that continue to honor this sacred space. These accents symbolize hope, renewal, and the unbroken connection between humanity, nature, and the divine.
The painting celebrates India as a civilization where spirituality, art, and history coexist in harmony. Inspired by the sacred atmosphere of Elephanta Island, it reflects the resilience of cultural heritage and the universal message of Lord Shiva—balance, transcendence, and the infinite cycle of creation.
Ultimately, this work is an invitation to look beyond form and experience the quiet power, mystery, and timeless spirit that have made the Shiv Lingam of Elephanta a symbol of India's profound artistic and spiritual legacy.

Persian/Canadian Painter born in Tehran, currently living in Florence, Italy.
Permanent artist in gallery- Bologna
Award-winning artist, in national and international contests, artworks published in important Italian ( such as reviews & articles on national newspapers, catalogo della arte moderna vol 50, 53,54,55) and Persian catalogues.
My artworks are mostly inspired by ancient Persian poetry. They are very expressive and carry oriental art.
My original creations are mostly made of acrylic, oil and mixed media. Acrylic helps a lot with the texture I use. I mix it with oil sometimes for its brightness.
I am an artist and I consider myself a storyteller too. I am the link to Persian tradition in a completely contemporary way. I want to preserve its lyrical depth and introspective ability.
I consider the artistic research an introspective analysis. When I paint figures come to the surface as from a mystic vision.
Beauty reveals itself in symbolic shapes. They find a place on the canvas and remind the viewer about the importance of feelings.
