There is a special story behind this game.

In the early 80s Nintendo released a Wide Screen in the Game & Watch line with Mickey Mouse. For certain markets the Disney license, however, was not available. Nintendo chose therefore an alternative with identical gameplay but without Disney characters: Egg. Thus two nearly identical editions arose—one with Mickey, and one without—making this Mickey Mouse Wide Screen today extra interesting for collectors.
