Vintage Italian Marcello Giorgio Signed 925 Laminated Silver Jewelry Box & Large Frame Set

An exceptionally elegant, “heavy” tabletop set consisting of a matching luxury jewelry casket and matching large photographs frame.

Designed by the noted Italian silversmith Marcello Giorgio, the set features a sophisticated geometry with parallel structural ribbing.

Every piece is explicitly signed by the artist and the frame displays the proper Italian fine silver purity marks (925 / 131 MC).

A highly collectible, cohesive set representing the finest of mid-to-late 20th-century Italian argenteria (silverware) craftsmanship.

Giorgio workshops primarily used solid Italian Walnut (Noce), Cherry (Ciliegio), or premium Mahogany for their unlacquered finishes because they provide a rich, tactile contrast against the polished 925 sterling silver.

There is a small wear mark on the back of the box. See photo. Complete with the maker's signature Sunburst insignia medallion.

2. Large Matching Laminated 925 Silver & Wood Photo Frame
• Details: Features the identical horizontal parallel linear grooving pattern. Structured back plate made of fine wood with a sturdy integrated table leg stand. There’s some light vintage scratch marks.
• Hallmarks: Explicitly stamped on the silver margin with the official 925 purity oval, the artisan signature, and the Italian state silversmith registry mark 131 MC (designating historical production in Macerata, Italy).
