Description from the seller
Set WMF Germany (*hotel silver) silver-plated bowls in Art Deco style. The bowls are executed in the geometric Art Deco/early Bauhaus style and date from approximately 1930–1950. The clean Fan-cutouts (openwork or pierced design) bowls; in hotels they often served as an elegant fruit or bread basket.
Through the perforated patterns, air could reach the fruit, or the napkin placed in it could be beautifully displayed. A fine complement to an extensive dinner table.
The approximate sizes:
H 8 x D 30.5 cm

G 900 grams (together) excluding packaging
Both marked on the underside
The condition is, given the age, excellent. Signs of use are fine scratches, appropriate to the age and use. The set has been cleaned but not yet polished. There is some environmental coloration due to the high reflection and shine.
