VIMOPAR - Aglaya, Eufrósine y Talía, XL.

ViMoPar is a Spanish visual artist, with a PhD in Art and Research, whose practice combines contemporary figurative painting with cinematic experimentation and animation. His consolidated and recognized artistic career is backed by numerous awards and selections.

This original work measures 116 × 89 cm and was created in 2026. It is a figurative study that alludes to the Three Graces (Aglaea, Euphrosyne and Thalia) and, at the same time, constitutes a reinterpretation of photographs that my female classmates and I took more than twenty years ago. I have worked a lot with those images and have produced numerous versions; at the time they were very successful and, from time to time, I revisit that past with considerable joy.

Edited photographs can convey an idea of size or proportions that does not exactly match reality. AI also arbitrarily modifies some colors and textures. The work is painted entirely with premium quality acrylics. In addition, I include unedited photographs, taken under different lighting, so that each texture of the product can be properly appreciated and the one that most closely approximates reality can be chosen.

The surface of the work is 140 × 95 cm, although the canvas has extra fabric to facilitate handling and subsequent framing. The artist begins by working with high-quality acrylic paint, as well as gold paint.

Shipping is carried out only with the canvas rolled, protected with bubble wrap and cardboard or a rigid support, guaranteeing its proper preservation during transport.
