Description from the seller
Cuirássière – Norse Mythology – Yggdrasil - The Sacred Tree - Connection between the realms of the visible and the invisible.
Chevalière with a massive body and relief decorations with a sacred and timeless look. Its centerpiece highlights the World Tree, Yggdrasil.
The sides are polished and hammered, underscoring the purity of its lines and the symbolic depth of this jewel inspired by ancestral Nordic beliefs.
Yggdrasil, colossal and eternal cosmological ash, is the pillar of the universe in Norse mythology. It connects and sustains the nine worlds, distributed among its branches, trunk and roots.
At its roots lie Muspelheim, realm of primordial fire, Niflheim, land of eternal ice, and Helheim, domain of the dead.
At the center of the tree resides humanity, in Midgard, sphere of balance. Surrounding it revolve:
– Jötunheim, land of giants and chaos,
– Vanaheim, realm of the gods of fertility,
– Alfheim, dwelling of the luminous elves,
– Svartalfheim, world of dwarves and forgers,
– And Asgard, celestial city of the Aesir gods, led by Odin, symbol of divine strength and warrior prowess.
Yggdrasil embodies not only cosmic order, but also perpetual rebirth and the connection between the realms of the visible and the invisible.
This chevalière is much more than a jewel: it is a living symbol of Nordic wisdom, transcendence and inner strength.
