-- Wine critic: A rich purple with an opaque center and a delicate ruby rim. A sublime bouquet with Morello cherries, red currants, and rosehip jam. In the second approach dried wild herbs, Tasmanian pepperberry, and chocolate pastilles. On the delicate palate with a silky texture, cocoa-like extract, noble saline note, and a perfectly formed body, this Pomerol delights this year with finesse – thanks to a perfectly supporting sturdiness. In the concentrated finish lots of graphite, dark terroir spice, and gentle astringency. Hats off to Jean‑Philippe Janoueix! 19/20 96–98/100
