Description from the seller

Magnificent original World War I propaganda poster (1918), titled "Weapons for Liberty" and drawn by the famed illustrator J.C. Leyendecker for the Boy Scouts of America’s Third Liberty Loan Campaign. Printed in New York by the American Lithographic Co., it depicts a young scout offering the sword "Be Prepared" to Lady Liberty. It measures 76x51 cm and retains the colors that are still vivid, with the artist’s signature in the bottom right. The poster preserves the era’s original folds, with a small tear at the top left and a tiny hole along the central crease, clearly visible in the attached photos. A true piece of American history, ideal for collectors.
