Original acrylic painting by Pölzl Peter - PöP Art titled NOTTE DORATA (XXL), created in 2026 in Italy, 100×100 cm, signed, unframed, approx. 2 kg.
Description from the seller
This unique original work by Pölzl Peter / poep-art – is 100% handcrafted. Made in Italy
The “guiding profile” for explaining my pictures is best described in many images as a conscious refusal of linguistic specification. For PöP, talking about art is often difficult or even “senseless,” since painting for him represents an independent form of thinking that goes beyond what can be said.
He sees painting as a process that begins where language ends. He believes that one can only put into words what words can express – painting has nothing to do with that.
In summary: my guiding profile is the openness of the image. An image must be able to stand on its own without external explanation, as any interpretation would merely restrict the image.
An abstract image by Peter Pölzl no longer looks like a depiction of reality, but like a battlefield of colors and layers. There are no recognizable objects, figures, or landscapes anymore.
