Pölzl Peter / poep-art - "RIFLESSI DELLA LAGUNA DI VENEZIA" (XXL)

Description provided by the artist
This unique original work by Pölzl Peter / poep-art – is 100% handmade. Made in Italy

Through the deliberate projection of the golden color, a special effect arises with the corresponding incidence of light.

The “leitprofil” for explaining my pictures is best described in numerous images as a conscious denial of linguistic fixation. For PöP, talking about art is often difficult or even “meaningless,” as painting for him represents an independent form of thinking that goes beyond what can be said.

He sees painting as a process that begins where language ends. He believes that one can only put into words what words can express – painting has nothing to do with that.

In summary: my guiding profile is the openness of the image. An image must be able to stand on its own for him, without external explanation, as every interpretation would merely restrict the image.

An abstract image by Peter Pölzl no longer resembles a depiction of reality, but rather a battlefield of colors and layers. There are no recognizable objects, figures or landscapes left.
