Javi Villarroel Seoane - The Eruption

"The Eruption" arises from an invisible tension that lives inside the human being. A form is born and expands as if it contains an impulse impossible to stop.

The surrealism addressed by the work does not seek to represent something recognizable, but to provoke an intimate emotion, that moment in which what is contained finally finds an outlet.

Facing it, the viewer does not observe a figure: they encounter a part of themselves that also wishes to emerge.

"The Eruption" surrenders to the personal interpretation of the gaze that contemplates it.

All the anatomy of the sculpture as well as the rest of the elements that compose it has been made without molds. The birds have been sculpted directly in metal. The buyer of this artwork will be gifted with unpublished images of the creation of the piece and a signed photo of the artist with a personalized dedication.

On Instagram @JVSculptures there is a video of the artwork.

An excellent opportunity to acquire a work of art by one of the Spanish sculptors in highest demand, offered exclusively on Catawiki.

The term "El Escultor de Almas" has become the definitive and most poetic definition to refer to Javi Villarroel Seoane within the contemporary art circuit. This label condenses his life philosophy and artistic purpose: using steel to materialize fragility and the states of the human spirit.

The figurative surrealist interpretation, the textures and concepts that his works possess are already a globally recognized hallmark. The uniqueness of his perspective and his technical ability have allowed him to push metal to complex physical limits, crafting extraordinarily unique and inimitable sculptures.

Javi has received visits to his Bilbao studio not only from many parts of Spain but also from other countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, among others. Collectors discuss his ideas and can see some of his most iconic artworks. The studio can be visited by appointment. Send a message on Instagram @JVSculptures.
