Description from the seller
Unique and original work painted by hand by Raphaël Monnet
Raphaël Monnet develops a contemporary abstract painting in which color becomes matter, rhythm and movement.
He treats the canvas as an space for experimentation. The painting is projected, accumulated and confronted with opposing colors. The impacts cross, some areas densify while others allow the background to breathe.
His process does not rely on a pre-made image, but on a progressive construction. Each intervention leads to the next until an balance emerges between apparent disorder and pictorial organization.
Based at the Léo Varek studio in France, Raphaël Monnet continues his exploration around projection and the superposition of colors. His works possess an immediate presence from afar and reveal, when approached, a multitude of details, nuances and unexpected encounters between pigments.
Each canvas results from a unique process. The trajectory of the projections, the distribution of matter and the interactions between colors can never be reproduced exactly the same way twice.

Format and presentation
The indicated dimensions correspond to the overall size of the canvas. A painted peripheral edge is intended to be folded over the sides of the frame, without encroaching on the main composition.
Some images show the work staged to facilitate its projection into an interior. They are created with the ArtStage staging software which makes AI-generated mockups. Proportions may slightly vary depending on the staging. Please refer to the dimensions indicated in the description to know the actual size of the work.
The edges are partially painted and allow for a clean finish after mounting.
Shipping
The work is shipped rolled in a rigid protective packaging, without a frame.
Light creases may appear on receipt. This is perfectly normal for a rolled canvas. These marks disappear naturally once the canvas is tensioned.
For optimal results, we recommend having the canvas mounted on a frame by a local framer.
Shipments are made by express carrier — DHL, FedEx or equivalent — with tracking up to delivery.
Some destinations may incur additional shipping charges beyond my control. In that case, the buyer will be informed before dispatch to adjust the charges if necessary. Shipping cannot proceed without approval of these fees.
Additional information
Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings and shooting conditions.
Stretcher and frame not included.
