2019 Domaine Sainte Croix "Magneric" - Corbières - 6 Bottles (0.75L)

The origin of the name, “Magneric”, is an exceptionally high-quality Grenache Noir vineyard that lies isolated in the hills.
Organic wine.
Grape varieties: Old Carignan Noir 29%, Old Grenache Noir 31%, Syrah 35%, Mourvèdre 5%
Vines bush-trained in goblet with two eyes and aged 60 and 105 years for Grenache and Carignan respectively. Syrah is trained in a simple Guyot.
Aging on lees in stainless steel tanks (30%), and in French oak barrels (228/300/400 litres) for 16 months.
No fining, tangential filtration.

The color is fairly deep with purplish-red reflections. On the nose and in the mouth, notes of blackberry, wild raspberry, cassis and fig, accompanied by a slight woody note.
The richness and concentration are balanced by the freshness of the Carignan.
Tannins that are both dense and fine fill the mouth of this wine, ending with aromas of cassis, prune, and crushed stone.
