Presenting the first edition of Saul Steinberg’s iconic “View of the World from 9th Avenue,” originally created in 1976. This legendary poster, featured on the cover of The New Yorker, captures a humorous and exaggerated view of the world from the New Yorker’s perspective. In this whimsical illustration, Manhattan dominates the scene, while the rest of the world—from the Hudson River to the Pacific Ocean—gradually fades into the background. The piece playfully mocks the New York-centric worldview, showing Steinberg's masterful use of minimalism, bold lines, and satire.
