Description from the seller
Unique and original artwork painted by hand by Raphaël Monnet
Raphaël Monnet develops contemporary abstract painting in which color becomes material, rhythm, and movement.
He treats the canvas as an space of experimentation. The painting is projected, accumulated, and confronted with opposing colors. The impacts cross paths; some areas densify while others allow the background to breathe.
His process does not rely on a pre-prepared image, but on a progressive construction. Each intervention leads to the next until an balance emerges between apparent disorder and pictorial organization.
Based in the Léo Varek studio in France, Raphaël Monnet continues his research around projection and the superposition of colors. His works possess an immediate presence from a distance and reveal, when approached, a multitude of details, nuances, and unexpected encounters between pigments.
Each canvas results from a unique process. The trajectory of projections, the distribution of matter, and the interactions between colors can never be reproduced exactly the same way.

Format and presentation
The indicated dimensions correspond to the total size of the canvas. A portion painted on the periphery is intended to be folded over the sides of the frame, without encroaching on the main composition.
Some images show the work staged to facilitate its projection into an interior. They are created using the ArtStage staging software which makes AI mockups. Proportions may slightly vary depending on the staging. Please refer to the dimensions indicated in the description to know the actual size of the work.
The edges are partially painted and allow a clean finish after assembly.
Shipping
The work is shipped rolled in a rigid protective packaging, without stretcher or frame.
Slight creases may appear on receipt. This is perfectly normal for a rolled canvas. These marks naturally disappear when the canvas is stretched.
For optimal results, it is recommended to have the canvas mounted on a stretcher by a local framer.
Shipments are made by express carrier — DHL, FedEx or equivalent — with tracking until delivery.
Some destinations may incur additional shipping costs beyond my control. In such cases, the buyer will be informed before shipping to adjust the costs if necessary. Without confirmation of these fees, shipment cannot be carried out.
Additional information
Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings and shooting conditions.
Stretcher and frame not included.
